The commercial was for swedish match, Onico a nicotine free snuff brand.<br />

Some software i used was, Maya, renderman, pftrack, craftanimation 4wheel extended, photoshop, zbrush and shake for compositing.<br />

I managed to get some time to paint, As i miss oilpainting, due to the lack of a propper studio, <br />
 photoshop will have to do the trick for me, I wanted to have the feling of oil painting, but using the digital toolbox and this painting is the result. <br />
I think of him as the last soldier two millienums after the big war. He won the war but was left alone. Only time will tell what will happen. I think its lonly for him..<br />

The commercial was awarded a ROY award here in sweden recently in the category best animation and special effects<br />
with the motivation &quot; With great feeling and expertise the winner has manage to combine technique and idea to a perfect film&quot;<br />

We blasted out a message in the south affrican table  mountain .  It was camera mapped mattepaintings for the first shot and ridgid body simulations and particles for the explosions, I used maya for 3d and Zbrush to make displacement on rocks and texturing, We used Renderman Pro server for rendering. I used Shake to comp as always<br />
